Specialized Trainings + Roles

José's Background

His ongoing training, conjoined with his wide-ranging experiences across multi-disciplinary practices, allows him to stay at the front of how best to work with - and hold space for - clients bravely willing to face the challenges of the human experience in our modern times.

José co-creates and shares space nurtured through the fabrics of somatics, and multiplicity, as well as developmental, humanistic, and transpersonal psychology. José has specialized training in somatic experiencing, internal family systems, NARM, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

In addition to his clinical work, José supports multiple investigational psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy trials (MDMA & Psilocybin) in varying capacities (consultant, educator, therapist) and has been an on-line graduate course facilitator at Boston University’s School of Social Work.

José’s commitment to participating in healing spaces stems from the knowledge that the best way to learn is by engaging in our own healing work.

He is grateful for the following people, traditions, experiences, and modalities shaping his perspectives as a human in this lifetime:
